 Participation in the promotion of the environmental sector as a lever in the economic and social integration in Attica , with the utilization of renewable energy.

 

  •  « Research for the cases of social exclusion in the burned areas of the Prefecture of Ilia- levels of social exclusion in the population of Ilia prefecture, which has been struck by the megafires of 2007 » (2010-2013)

 The present project aims to evaluate and investigate the phenomenon of social exclusion and poverty in the fire ravaged regions of the Prefecture of Ilia.

 

  • River Basin Management Plans of Western and Central Macedonia Water Districts (2012- 2013): European Directive 2000/60/EC (Water Framework Directive) obliges Member States to design and implement Integrated Management Plans for their respective River Basins.

UEHR was responsible for the composition of Deliverables 1.3 (Economic Analysis of Water Use and Analysis of Cost-Recovery Ratio) and 1.4 (Preliminary Proposals for Water Pricing) for the Water Districts of Western and Central Macedonia. In addition, UEHR also contributed to other deliverables as well as to the final Integrated River Basin Management Plan.
